When connected to the Orbis Premium, the app tracks the scanning trajectory and shows what’s been captured, in real time, minimizing the likelihood of needing to revisit the site. In addition to visualizing scans as they happen, users can quickly start and stop their scans directly from the app and project manage their data. They can also upload the final data from the field to FARO Sphere XG for automatic processing, all while still on site.

FARO Sphere XG
FARO Sphere XG is an online cloud-based software package for processing and sharing data. Automatically upload Orbis Premium data from FARO Stream to Sphere XG and access information quickly. This streamlined process lets stakeholders review data sooner, providing valuable insights without delay. Once the data is processed in Sphere XG, it can be efficiently converted into multiple formats, making it easy to integrate with widely used third-party software applications.

FARO Connect
For those who prefer or require an offline workflow, FARO includes desktop-based software, FARO Connect, where users can process data locally. The users can still upload from Connect to Sphere XG should they wish to make it widely available to other stakeholders, or they can keep the exported data offline for use in third-party software.
