Detect mines and IEDs with a single device, whether metal-bearing or metal-free: the VMR3 “Minehound” unites a metal detector and ground-penetrating radar in one dual-sensor search head. The clear LED display and the robust construction with a carbon telescopic shaft make it a proven companion in operations worldwide. Two different audio signals help the user distinguish between the ground-penetrating radar (GPR) and metal detector (MD). The MD provides a simple alarm while the GPR supplies acoustic information on the depth and dimension of the object. Based on the settings, the audio signals are visually supported by the LED display.
