The Olympus TERRA field portable XRF analyzer is a rugged and portable device which has advanced dual XRD/XRF technology. Integrated with a direct excitation charge-coupled device (CCD) camera that allows collecting the X-ray photon data for both X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence simultaneously. The device uses a unique direct excitation charge-coupled device (CCD) camera to detect both photon position (XRD) and energy (XRF) at the same time. The device is self-contained and battery-operated, with roughly 4 to 6 hours of field autonomy, making it ideal for on-site, in-field testing.
